Family Day at Rio and Duck Drop
To celebrate our history on the farm, we are excited to announce the 2024 Founders’ Day Duck Drop! This year, we are selling cow-themed rubber ducks throughout August and September to raise money for the University of Rio Grande. Each $10 duck purchased online gives you an entry to win a prize, and students with a current RIO ID can buy their ducks for just $5 at the Office of Institutional Advancement, open from 8 AM to 5 PM, with cash or Venmo accepted. All proceeds support the University of Rio Grande. You do not need to be present to win, as the ducks will be dropped on the rugby field on Founders’ Day. Only one winner is selected each year.
