Earth Day Watercolor Class and Seed Life Cycle/Planting

Join us for some creative fun, exploring and watercolor techniques while composing a painting and learning about seed cycles!
A mixed age group (3-18yrs) art gathering where we explore use of watercolor paint techniques, sketching techniques, use of lines/shapes to create movement and form, promoting uniqueness, imagination, and self-exploration through art. Designs with be tailored to each childs skill/ages level. As well as having a discussion on seed life cycles and each child will plant flower seeds for Earth Day!
All materials provided.
🌱1:00-2:30p! Please wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Bring a sibling or friend! The Colony Gallipolis will also have food and drink available for purchase.

In the months of February, March, April, May, June and July, Evening Storytimes occur on the second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Thursdays of the month at 6:00 PM.
In the months of August, September, October, and November, and December, Evening Storytimes occur on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Thursdays of the month at 6:00 PM.
These Evening Storytimes are a repeat of the Monday morning Storytime.

Tired of coloring by yourself? Crave some social interaction? Would like to get together with other coloring enthusiasts? If so, plan to attend our Color Me Happy! Adult Coloring Saturday on the last Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM. In December, Color Me Happy! Adult Coloring will meet on the first (1st) Saturday (December 6) of the month.
No registration is required.
Each attendee will receive 3 coloring sheets of the Library’s choosing which they may color at the session or take home and color. No substitutions or extra copies will be available.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own pencils, pens, and coloring sheets if they so desire.
Patrons not attending Color Me Happy! will be able to stop in at the Library and pick up a packet of 3 coloring sheets each month to take home and color.
Color Me Happy! is for adults ages 18 and over, no children are permitted.
