Notes in the Key of C
Gallia County native and author John Morgan, is a professional acoustic guitarist based in Central Ohio. Unencumbered by the pursuit of fame or fortune, he diligently pursues his musical aspirations through performance, instruction, composition, and recording. From 2001 to 2022, John served as an Artist-in-Residence for Ohio Health, regularly performing for oncology patients. His book, Notes in the Key of C-Tuning out Cancer, Tuning in Hope, is a poignant collection of observations and reflections gleaned from his experiences at the forefront of life. These stories evoke a wide range of emotions, including tears, laughter, hope, and joy.
On Friday evening, April 11, from 4:00-6:00 pm, attendees are invited to a presentation by John, featuring select musical performances, followed by a question-and-answer session. A reception with appetizers and refreshments, accompanied by a book signing, will follow. Hope you can join us in celebrating one of our Gallia County native’s successes.
