Food for Thought Cookbook Club

Join us on Saturday, April 19 at 11:00 AM for a fun “Food for Thought” program, where we will shine our spotlight on Life’s Too Short to Stuff a Mushroom, Really Good Food Without the Fuss, by author, and Great British Baking Show judge, Chef Prue Leith.

We will dive into her tips and life hacks for the everyday home baker as well as discuss her special recipes. We will have a quick demo and sample a couple of prepared recipes from the book. We even have some games planned where you will have the opportunity to win a chintzy kitchen prize!

We encourage you to try a recipe or two at home before the meeting and let everyone know how it went.

Patrons who wish to attend are encouraged to check out Prue’s cookbook from the library, Libby or Hoopla. You may also elect to look at a staff member’s personal copy of the cookbook in house and copy a couple of recipes you might like to try.

This program is for those ages 18+ and registration is required.
