Welsh Scenic Byway

In the early 1800s, thousands of Welsh people settled in Gallia and Jackson counties. They brought with them their religion, architecture, and traditions. The Welsh Scenic Byway allows folks to visit churches, museums, educational and cultural centers while discovering the natural beauty of Southeastern Ohio today!

The story map is downloadable and has background and GPS information on each site.
