Our Little Retro Scene

Built in 1900 this two bedroom, two bath, two story home is a great place to stay. Large it isn’t but it is the right size for a short-term rental. It has been updated over the last few years and is furnished to take you back to around 1960. Except for a few pieces the furniture and everything is new. Reds, teals and touches of other retro colors stage the rooms for a back in time delight. The back has a deck to enjoy, and the front porch is great for watching passersby.

The space

Living, dining, kitchen, bath and laundry are located on the bottom floor and two bedrooms and bath are on the second floor. Everything is included for you to have a great stay. Bring your clothes and settle in to be at home. Decor is in reminiscent of the early 60’s. Those were some pretty good days. Out back is a deck to sit and relax. The front porch is fun to sit on and watch the traffic, and walkers. The duplex next door is owned by me and is also has two short-terms. Your parking is out front for now. I hope to add a fire pit soon. You are welcome to use the one next to you. Beth

Guest access

You will have the whole home and yard, however behind the outbuilding is rather tough. I just purchase the home, so landscaping will be a summer project.

Other things to note

I want you to know that I do rent longer term to many that travel for work. Many stay for several weeks at a time. I will work with you, if I have an available place. I will put you to the closest proximity to your employment. The cost per night is for two and a charge of 25 per night per person is in addition. This helps cut cost for two. I also take care of cleaning and taxes on my end.
